We recently completed our first post-Covid 19 TMJ arthroscopy training course in Salt lake City, UT on the Univeristy of Utah campus. It was exciting to be back in the cadaver lab working with the Nexus staff and interacting with the participants. Dr. Jose Montero, who took over from Dr. McCain when he was appointed to a faculty position at Harvard University, did a magnificent job teaching and educating the surgeons on this safe, minimally invasive and reproducible procedure. We appreciated Dr. Jamison Metcalf, DDS of St. George, UT and Dr. Aaron Figueroa, DDS of the Univeristy of Iowa attending our course.

Thank you for this kind endorsement. We had another phenomenal weekend of learning during our most recent hands-on cadaver TMJ arthroscopy course in Salt Lake City, Utah. Much appreciation to the attendees who traveled across the Pacific Ocean as well as from Nevada and Southern Florida. As always, a huge shout-out to the terrific faculty: Dr. Daniel Choi and Dr. Clayton Davis who provided detailed and focused instruction. What an amazing experience we had visiting and working with our Indian TMJ friends and colleagues during the 3rd Annual Amrita TMJ Hands-On Cadaver Course and being part of the inaugural 1st Annual ISTMJS conference held in Kochi, India. Overall it could not have been a more exciting or beneficial opportunity for us to attend. We would like to thank the course organizers, the wonderful support staff at both the hospital and the course and live-surgery faculty. The most lasting memory of all would be the extraordinary Indian hospitality and cuisine. We can’t wait for future opportunities to attend such a world-class event.
